The following pieces are character sketches and, ultimately, various other oddments relating to a roleplay campaign I've ben GMing since November 2000. The campaign began on New Year's Eve on board a cruise liner in the far galactic north, then soon a number of people from the ship - its commanding officer, chaplain, chief technical officer, navigator and five of its passengers awoke in a crashed shuttle on the far side of the galaxy with an alien amongst their midsts. Three days later the ship's political officer awoke to find himself in an escape pod with another alien who was serving as a junior seaman on board ship while acting as a diplomatic hostage. A month or so later, due to uncontrolable circumstances, were thrown together with an Inquisitorial investigation party headed by alien hunter Lord Inquisitor Elijah Hurt... But the riddle remains unsolved and the web grows more tangled yet.
